With extensive experience in the health and aged care sector, she specialises in management, recruitment and staffing, leading teams to deliver high-quality workforce solutions. She also serves as an RCSA Non-Executive Board Director, RCSA SA Council Member, Chair of ANRA and Board Director of SwimmingSA.

Throughout her career, Jelena has built a strong track record of driving growth, profitability and brand awareness, transforming Altaira from a small start-up agency into a national provider. She is recognised for implementing innovative staffing strategies, optimising operational processes and developing workplace solutions that deliver lasting impact. Passionate about advancing the recruitment and staffing profession, she is committed to driving positive change across the industry. In recognition of her contributions, she was awarded the RCSA CEO Outstanding Contribution Award in 2023.

One of Jelena's proudest achievements at Altaira has been establishing a mentorship program for graduate nurses alongside a mental fitness program for aged care nurses.
